"I AM REUSABLE: THANK YOU" is an interactive installation art piece.
install guidance: a projection screen is created by fused plastic bags and stretched over three points to create a V. The piece should allow room for the observers to view the piece in four ways: Side A, Side B, Side A+B from the concave angle, Side A+B from the convex angle.
artist statement:
The problem of plastic is not new, however the solutions are vauge. This piece asks the viewer to consider what is disposable. Sturdy plastics can be reconstructed and repurposed while the natural environments we hold precious degrade. This piece seeks the beautification in plastic's reuse. The piece also was created purely with discarded multi-use plastic materials. In shipping and handling the piece this principle should be held.
